William Alther, From Wildlife Biology to Canvas

Growing up in West Texas, Alther developed an interest in the natural world and art at an early age.  A degree in Wildlife Biology at Texas A&M University led to a position in the zoology department at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for 13 years.  During that time he was an active artist and began his career as a full time artist in 2004.
