Painting Music is a testament to the creative spirit of children and their natural love and appreciation for nature.

A lovely recent note from J.K. in the Bay Area: "When I look at this sculpture I’m seeing myself growing up, being a child of the trees, grass, and puddles with worms. Frankly, this truly was me in those early years – whiling away the hours on a high-up tree branch or lying in the grass watching the clouds shift, letting my imagination soar and my heart take root. Animals, trees, rocks, water, and all four seasons helped to form my character and I carry that with me.
